What are the key functions of ACCREDIS Locator?
Locator determines when vehicles are stationary and when they are moving. The data can be viewed in the form of either a map or a table or both.

Any company/institution that has its own fleet for business purposes or provides services to third parties.
What does ACCREDIS Locator consist of?

Can anyone install the ACCREDIS Locator?
Installation can only be carried out by approved installers.
What vehicle details does ACCREDIS Locator retrieve?
For each vehicle you will receive the following details: GPS-position, date and time, driving direction and actual speed. Moreover the system shows ignition on/off and when each operation took place.
How can I use ACCREDIS Locator?
You can use the system in two different ways:
- Via Polling;
The back office can poll a vehicle by requesting a position and status via the Locator software. Once the mobile is in receipt of this request a location and status will be transmitted and within seconds the back office will be in receipt of the information it requested.
- Via Beaconing; Automatically and periodically the vehicle sends details of its location and status without direct interference by the backoffice. A combination of the two working methods is possible.

The product consists of the software package: Locator Client. Upon installation this package works together with Microsoft® MapPoint (note this is not included in the Locator package).

Computer specification
Installation requirements for ACCREDIS Locator client:
- Microsoft® Windows 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP or higher installed with Microsoft® MapPoint 2004.
- Your computer needs to be installed with a fixed IP address in order to connect to the GPRS-server.
- Ask your internet provider regarding the possibility of having a fixed IP address.
